I learn important stuff about life from them, in particular from Bridgette. Her authenticity and candor are inspiring, for she will not waste precious time. Bridgette moves life along! She freely shares her spirit for adventure, with her boots and glue gun ever at the ready, a real Texas cowgirl. In recent years she has been a doting big sister to me, sheltering and feeding me in her home so many times, with such kindness and humanity. We love you Bridgette, always! -- your pal, StuStu Btwotwohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13873868051520626399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3589725330924793781.post-74847151781484776942019-01-31T14:13:54.967-06:002019-01-31T14:13:54.967-06:00Bridgette was such an inspiration to me. She could camp; she could cook in the wilderness; she could play the violin; she could entertain big crowds, always with a smile on her face. She could also, every time we ever got together...make me laugh. (I value that highly.) Bridgette and John welcomed the Austin homeschool crowd into their home, which led to so much happiness, and so many relationships forged. She truly made the world, and my life, and so many other lives, a better place. All my love to John, and the "kids," and the "step-kids." I am so sorry for your loss--I know that it is huge.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3589725330924793781.post-88397664881443248002019-01-31T13:22:00.971-06:002019-01-31T13:22:00.971-06:00Bridgette and I sang in choir together for many ye...Bridgette and I sang in choir together for many years, and Jim and I spent many occasions watching football or movies at their house. She was an excellent cook and provided a gourmet breakfast meal for our church on numerous occasions. Her interests were numerous and varied and she was so talented in so many ways, but her best quality was her generosity! We loved her and will miss her dearly...Bettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15706282882086786045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3589725330924793781.post-28983374800457502302019-01-30T19:30:00.841-06:002019-01-30T19:30:00.841-06:00Bridgette took me in when I was 14. She taught me so many things and cared for me as one of her own and welcomed in to her awesome family. She gave me two brothers and a sister I could not possibly be more proud of! She was a Christian, an awesome wife and a spectacular mom. I can’t express how appreciative I’m am for God placing her in my life. She helped me out of my struggles when I joined the church choir for the first time. Her laugh filled my heart as I laughed with her. She invited me over late one night to make gingerbread cookies when I was feeling down and we got crazy with the decorations. Her knowledge and input in Sunday school class enlightened me. Her husband and kids are the best. She has made a difference in my life forever. Love to Bridgette forever, HollyHollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08710087983982130312noreply@blogger.com
